Learn About Investigative Reporting From Veteran Journalists on April 20

Join the Press Club of Long Island for a panel on investigative reporting. Newsday’s Sandra Peddie and News 12’s Walt Kane will offer tips of the trade. PCLI Vice President Cecilia Dowd will moderate the panel discussion and a Q&A with the audience. REGISTER FOR THE ZOOM LINK

Walt Kane is the lead investigative reporter for News 12 and a 17-time Emmy winner His "Kane In Your Corner" investigations have led to more than a dozen new laws, freed the wrongly convicted, and helped thousands.

Sandra Peddie is the author of two books, most recently, "SONNY, The Last of the Old Time Mafia Bosses, John "Sonny" Franzese." As an investigative journalist for Newsday, she has won more than 75 awards for her work, including the $35,000 Selden Ring Award for investigative reporting that gets results.

Cecilia Dowd is an on-air reporter for NewsdayTV and a former FiOS1 reporter and News 12 assignment editor. This event is free and open to the public. Learn more about the Press Club of Long Island at pcli.org.
