Join us to celebrate the best in Long Island journalism and induct the Long Island Journalism Hall of Fame Class of 2026. The Press Club of Long Island Media Awards banquet will take place at The Fox Hollow in Woodbury on Thursday, June 4, at 6:30 p.m. Tickets, tables and journal ads are on sale now.
The LI Journalism Hall of Fame Class of 2026 are:
TV news photojournalist/editor Michael DelGiudice of WNBC-TV New York
Longtime editor of The Long Islander and former reporter for Newsday Shirley Perlman
Radio journalist Sophia Hall, currently of 1010 WINS and formerly the WCBS Radio Long Island correspondent
The late former Newsday editor Tony Insolia, who led Long Island’s daily newspaper to seven Pulitzer Prizes during his tenure
Tickets are $125 for the general public. For members of PCLI and the Society of Professional Journalists, tickets are $105. The student price (high school and college) is just $75.
A table of 10 is $1,000.
Congratulatory journal ads in the evening's keepsake program booklet are $125 each.
