2026 PCLI Media Awards Competition Now Open for Entries

The entry period for the 2026 Press Club of Long Island Media Awards is now open.

Refer to this PDF that lists all of the categories and criteria, as well as the rules and entry instructions.

Entries will be submitted online through the BetterBNC website under Open Call Login, except for the Special Awards and Scholarships.

The first entry for Press Club of Long Island members is free. You can check if your membership is current at SPJ.org. The fee for additional entries is $30 per entry for professionals and $15 per entry for students.

Special Awards and Scholarships includes Long Island Journalism Hall of Fame nominations, the Robert W. Greene Public Service Award, the Phil Spahn Memorial Award, the James Murphy Cub Reporter of the Year and the college and high school scholarship awards. This is the only division that is not entered through BetterBNC. There is no cost to submit a scholarship application or special awards nomination. Entries, nominations and applications should be emailed to [email protected].
